How to use the Sponsor Package Builder
Open this guide for the recommended workflow, pricing checks, and an explanation of every score.
The basic idea
Start with what your tournament can deliver, then combine those benefits around a sponsor's goal. For example, a restaurant is more likely to understand a Family Dining Partner package than a generic Gold package.
-
1
Complete the event brief
Add the event, audience, location, and a short reason the audience matters to a sponsor. Add at least one contact method because it appears in the sponsor PDF.
-
2
Build your sponsor inventory
Add each benefit you can reliably deliver. Click an inventory card to edit it. Use search and category filters when the list grows.
Sponsor value is what the benefit could reasonably be worth to the buyer. Delivery cost is your direct cost to provide it, such as printing, rentals, or paid staff.
-
3
Set limits and roles
Use exclusive for one sponsor, limited when you have a fixed quantity, and shareable when several packages can use the benefit. Mark benefits as lead, supporting, or proof so each package has a clear centrepiece and something measurable after the event.
-
4
Create named partner packages
Name the sponsor type, promise a useful result, set the price, and choose the benefits. A strong starting mix is one lead benefit, useful support across several categories, and one proof or renewal benefit.
-
5
Compare and improve
Use Compare to review price, value, delivery cost, benefit mix, and inventory conflicts side by side. Resolve any red conflict before offering the packages to different sponsors.
-
6
Preview, personalize, and export
Open Sponsor preview, enter the sponsor's name, and download the PDF. The PDF includes only that package, your event proof, price, and contact details, making it ready to email as a focused opportunity.
What the package numbers mean
- Package strength
- A 100-point quality check covering the name, sponsor fit, promise, benefit mix, proof, pricing, and inventory conflicts.
- Listed value
- The total sponsor value of all selected benefits, including quantities.
- Value / price
- Listed value divided by package price. The builder treats roughly 1.15× to 2.2× as a healthy starting range.
- Before overhead
- Package price minus direct delivery costs. It does not include general staff time or other tournament overhead.
